West Lothian Leisure is a Community Benefit Organisation, a registered Scottish charity. It is at the heart of the West Lothian community, helping people to improve their wellbeing and make healthy lifestyle choices.
We care passionately about the service we provide to the people who live, work and visit West Lothian and are looking for a Lifeguard to join our Schools team at Inveralmond High & West Calder High.
Holding a current NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) would be a distinct advantage and is essential to have and maintain for this role. However, if you do not currently hold this qualification, West Lothian Leisure would put you on the NPLQ course for candidates who can demonstrate the right attributes.

Skills:
- Compliance Management: Ability to enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all swimmers
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with swimmers and address any concerns
- First Aid: Knowledge of basic first aid techniques and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
