Skills 1
Our coaches introduce the children to the fundaments of different skills – how to swing, an introduction to chipping and putting – all through the use of fun activities and games. This will teach them basic stance and posture that will serve as a basis for future levels.
Skills 2
This level will take the basic skills and develop your child’s technique and their understanding of the game of golf. Their swing will improve by introducing the importance of stance, posture, grip, backswing development and clubface alignment. Chipping and putting skills will be built upon through team games and a variety of different activities.
Skills 3
These sessions are based at our 2 golf courses. Your child, now confident with their swing, will be taught golf to course management: how to score a card, etiquette and rules knowledge. On-course playing will be introduced, with the aim of achieving a junior handicap.
The skills your child will have by the end of their coaching journey include:
Our aim is to give your child an excellent skillset and love of the game by the time they reach the end of their Xcite Golf coaching journey.
