Triathlete Isla Hedley will be looking to follow on from a stellar 2023 season that saw her crowned World and European Junior Cross Triathlon Champion and Young Sportswoman of the Year at the annual Scottish Woman in Sport Awards as she gears up for another exciting year competing against the sports future stars.
Scottish marketing agency GRM Marketing, who have long been strong advocates in championing Scotland’s future athletes, have organised sponsorship to support Isla with training and equipment, providing funding and support alongside leading Scottish Youth Athlete sponsors QTS and British sports marketer’s SM22.
“We are delighted to announce our sponsorship with Isla, her results speak for themselves and we see massive potential in her as she continues to improve and compete in a highly competitive field against the world's finest.
“GRM Marketing has a strong track record of supporting young aspiring athletes and we are eager to support her growth on her pathway to being World Triathlon Champion.” Founder and Director of GRM Marketing, Gordon Ritchie.
The sponsorship has allowed Isla to invest in her first custom bike, a Trek Madone SLR 7 AXS, which will be a massive boost to her performance in the upcoming season as she strives for the top once again.
On the sponsorship, Isla Hedley said, “I’m delighted to have received recognition for my hard work over the last few years. This sponsorship will be a great boost and help me to take big strides this season. Gordon and his team have been fantastic working with me through the whole process and I can’t wait to hit the ground running now with the new season!”
Isla was delighted to receive and test out her new bike at Xcite Linlithgow where she has trained and competed previously and will be hoping the new gear gives her a boost as she looks to hit the ground running as the 2024 triathlon season kicks off soon.
