Padel Tennis @ Xcite Bathgate
Played on an enclosed court, Padel is a fast-paced, social racquet sport that is often described as a mix between tennis and squash. Predominantly played as doubles, Padel is suitable for all fitness levels as it’s easy to learn the basic skills!
In May 2024, Xcite Bathgate proudly opened a brand-new Padel Tennis court - the first indoor court in West Lothian, offering year-round playability.
Our state-of-the-art new court is now available for public bookings at an introductory price of:

Xcite members: £20 per hour (for 4 players)

Non-members: £22 per hour (for 4 players)
Racquets and balls are also available to hire for a £10 refundable deposit per person.
Session Times
Padel sessions are 1-hour long and the court is open:
- Monday – Friday 09:00 - 22:00 (last session admission 21:00)
- Saturday 09:00 – 18:00 (last session admission 17:00)
- Sunday 09:00 – 20:00 (last session admission 19:00)

PADEL SOCIAL SESSIONS
Want to play Padel, but don’t have enough people to come along with you? Being a game that is perfect for 4 players, we appreciate that this can be a common problem, so we are introducing regular social sessions. You can book, come along and play Padel with others in the same situation. Learn more about the game, get the benefits of both the physical exercise and the fun factor of meeting new people and making Padel pals!

Social session times:
Monday @ 18:00, Tuesdays @ 10:00, Fridays @ 19:00, Saturdays @ 12:00
Sessions are 1 hour long and will accommodate up to 6 people, allowing 2 pairs to play at any one time and 1 pair to rest/chat/work on strategy - or mix up the pairs during the session for even more fun!
Session cost: £5 for Xcite members; £6 for non-members - session age group is 16+
